A Comparative Study of Efficacy of Silver Stream versus Povidone Iodine in Healing Diabetic Ulcers

SilverStream demonstrated superior healing efficacy, achieving an 89.51% reduction in mean ulcer size compared to 33% with povidone-iodine. All patients treated with SilverStream improved, with 90% achieving complete healing, while povidone iodine showed complete healing in only 46% of patients.

A Study of Silver Nitrate Solution in Dressing of Diabetic Foot Ulcer

A 46-year-old overweight female with an 8-month-old venous ulcer and a stubborn biofilm resistant to treatments showed significant improvement with a combination of Jet Force and SilverStream Solution (Qurion). The therapy reduced biofilm, decreased pain, and promoted healing with granulation tissue and new blood vessel formation, despite challenges from obesity-related hypoxia.
