SilverStream Medical participated in the international summit “Crisis Response: The Experience of Israel,” held in Kyiv, Ukraine, at the initiative of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine.
The event brought together leading experts from Israel and Ukraine to discuss multidisciplinary approaches to emergency medicine, disaster response, military healthcare, and mass-casualty management. Specialists from Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency medical service, shared practical experience and lessons learned from responding to complex emergency and crisis situations.
As part of the summit, several Israeli companies presented innovative technologies designed to support healthcare professionals in emergency, trauma, and disaster-response environments.
SilverStream Medical was represented by its official Ukrainian partner, InnoVita Technology LLC, led by Co-founder and Director Mr. Oleg Arenkov. During the event, attendees were introduced to SilverStream Solution and its application in the management of complex wounds, traumatic injuries, burns, and challenging clinical cases encountered in both civilian and military healthcare settings.
The presentation also highlighted the clinical experience of Cernica Chausha Weitman, Wound Care Coordinator and Senior Nurse at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, whose work includes the treatment of traumatic, combat-related, and complex chronic wounds. Her clinical insights demonstrated the importance of advanced wound cleansing and wound bed preparation strategies in supporting healing and reducing complications in high-risk patients.
Topics presented during the summit included:
- Advanced wound management approaches for trauma and burn injuries;
- Rapid wound-cleansing strategies designed to support infection prevention and complication reduction;
- Applications relevant to emergency medicine, disaster response, military healthcare, and mass-casualty incidents.
The summit was attended by senior representatives of Ukrainian emergency services, healthcare institutions, humanitarian organizations, hospital leadership, medical directors, and crisis-response professionals, creating an important platform for international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
SilverStream Medical extends its sincere appreciation to the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine for organizing this significant event and for fostering cooperation between Israeli and Ukrainian healthcare professionals. Such initiatives play a vital role in advancing emergency medical preparedness and improving patient care during times of crisis.
