SilverStream Presented to More Than 200 Surgeons at the ASI Karnataka State Chapter Scientific Meeting

SilverStream Medical, together with its Indian distribution partner PR Enterprise, participated in the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) – Karnataka State Chapter scientific meeting held in Hubballi-Dharwad, India.

The event brought together surgeons and healthcare professionals from across the region to discuss current challenges and innovations in surgical practice, infection prevention, wound management, and patient care. More than 200 surgeons and clinicians visited the PR Enterprise exhibition booth, where SilverStream® Solution was presented as an advanced wound cleansing and liquid dressing technology for a wide range of clinical applications.

Throughout the meeting, clinicians expressed considerable interest in the role of SilverStream® Solution in supporting surgical wound management and improving clinical outcomes. Discussions focused on applications including Surgical Site Infection (SSI) prevention strategies, fasciotomy and trauma wound management, diabetic foot ulcers, burn injuries, contaminated wounds, and wound bed preparation prior to closure.

Healthcare professionals were particularly interested in SilverStream’s unique multi-component formulation, which combines low-dose ionic silver, surfactant-assisted cleansing, moisture-balancing agents, hypertonic wound cleansing properties, and menthol for patient comfort. This integrated approach is designed to support effective wound cleansing, maintenance of a favorable healing environment, and preservation of healthy tissue while assisting clinicians in managing complex wounds.

The strong engagement from attending surgeons reflects the growing demand for evidence-based wound care technologies capable of addressing the challenges of infection prevention and wound healing across both surgical and chronic wound settings.

SilverStream Medical extends its sincere appreciation to PR Enterprise, Deepak Kumar, and the Association of Surgeons of India – Karnataka State Chapter for providing an excellent platform to engage with India’s surgical community and discuss advancements in wound care practice.
