SAWC Spring 2026: Presenting a Liquid Dressing Approach to Complex Wound Management

SilverStream Medical was proud to participate in the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring 2026, one of the world’s leading scientific conferences dedicated to wound healing, tissue repair, and advanced wound management.

As part of the scientific program, clinical experience from Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem, was presented through poster CS 033, authored by Cernica Chausha Weitman and Irina Greenberg. The presentation highlighted a structured, multimodal approach to the management of complex acute and chronic wounds, with a particular focus on biofilm control, wound bed preparation, and long-term wound environment management.

The poster introduced an alternative perspective on the role of SilverStream® Solution within wound care protocols. While many wound cleansing solutions are applied for a limited period and subsequently removed, SilverStream® was presented as a liquid dressing technology designed to remain part of the ongoing wound management process.

The clinical experience demonstrated how SilverStream Solution may be integrated into comprehensive wound care strategies by supporting:

  • Mechanical cleansing of debris and contaminants without cytotoxic effects on healthy tissue;
  • Maintenance of a balanced and moist wound environment;
  • Continuous interaction with the wound throughout the dressing phase;
  • Integration into multimodal, biofilm-focused treatment protocols.

The presentation generated valuable discussions among wound care specialists, clinicians, and researchers attending SAWC regarding evolving approaches to wound bed preparation, infection prevention, and optimization of the wound healing environment.

SilverStream Medical is honored to contribute to the scientific dialogue at SAWC and to support the continued advancement of evidence-based wound care practices worldwide.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the clinical teams at Hadassah Medical Center for sharing their experience and expertise with the global wound care community.

We are proud to support our partners as we continue expanding access to advanced wound care technologies worldwide.

One Solution. Complete Recovery.
