SilverStream Medical participated in TANPAPS 2026, the 24th Annual Conference of the Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Association of Plastic Surgeons, held from March 13–15, 2026, at Hotel Kodai International in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, India.

The conference brought together more than 300 plastic surgeons, reconstructive surgeons, wound care specialists, and healthcare professionals from across the region to discuss advances in surgical practice, wound healing, reconstruction, and patient care.

SilverStream Solution was presented throughout the event by our Indian partner, PR Enterprises, whose dedicated exhibition booth provided an opportunity for clinicians to learn about innovative approaches to wound management and Surgical Site Infection (SSI) prevention. The strong interest and engagement from attendees reflected the growing demand for evidence-based solutions capable of supporting both complex wound care and surgical outcomes.

Discussions with clinicians focused on the potential role of SilverStream® Solution throughout the surgical pathway, including:

• Pre-operative wound preparation;
• Intraoperative wound irrigation prior to closure;
• Post-operative wound care and wound environment management.

Attendees were particularly interested in SilverStream’s unique liquid dressing approach, designed to support wound cleansing while maintaining a favorable wound-healing environment. The solution combines multiple functional components that contribute to:

The event provided an excellent platform for scientific exchange and meaningful discussions regarding strategies to improve healing outcomes and reduce the burden of Surgical Site Infections, one of the most significant challenges facing healthcare systems worldwide.
